Help & Features

All functions — explained.

Choose a function and click on it: You'll learn in two sentences what it does and how to use it. From first opening the app to the provider's back office and shop integration.

For everyone who uses the app

Get to know the app.

The Perfect Day app is free and ready to use immediately. These are the features you need as an end customer.

Use the app without an account
The app works immediately after installation — no registration required. You can browse coupons, unlock a code, and view the map without logging in.
Create a member account
A free account with email and password ensures that your unlocked coupons are retained—even when changing devices or after a reinstallation. You can create it in the profile tab.
Discover coupons
In the Discover section, you'll see all available coupons in your area. You can sort by distance, filter by category, and use the search function to find something specific. Top recommendations are highlighted.
Map view
The map shows all partner providers with pins. Tap a pin for details — and with another tap start the route in Apple Maps or Google Maps.
Activate a code
If you have received a gift or city voucher code, enter it in the app. The coupon will then appear immediately in your "My Coupons" section.
„"My coupons" and remaining balances
Under "My Coupons" you will find all activated coupons in one place. For coupons with partial payment options, you can see the remaining balance at a glance.
Five languages
The app is available in German, English, Spanish, Russian, and Turkish. It automatically adjusts to your device's language settings.
Light and dark mode
The app automatically follows your device's light/dark setting — you don't need to change anything.
Give feedback
You can report bugs or make suggestions via the feedback section in your profile. We read all feedback. However, it's a one-way channel—you won't receive a personal reply.
Reset password
If you've forgotten your password, you can use the "Forgot password" function directly in the app. You confirm the change with a code that we send you by email.
For providers & redemption partners

Redeem coupons using the provider mode.

You activate provider mode by logging in to the profile tab with your platform login details. These functions will then be available to you.

Switch to provider mode
If you are a redemption partner, log in to the profile tab with your platform login details. The app will then activate the provider functions—you don't need an additional app.
Scan QR codes
Instead of typing in codes, you scan the customer's coupon code directly with your smartphone camera. This is faster than any POS system.
Coupon preview before redemption
Before redeeming, the app shows you the coupon details, the remaining balance and whether partial payment is possible — so you know in advance what the coupon can do.
Your own QR code
You can display your dedicated provider QR code. Customers scan it to be connected directly to you as a partner — they will then see your offers first.
Last redemptions (24 hours)
A live overview shows you all redemptions from the last 24 hours. This way you can immediately see what has already been redeemed today.
Generate codes directly in the app
You can generate new unlock codes directly from the app — handy if you need additional codes for a promotion at short notice.
Push notifications
Optionally, the app can notify you via push notification as soon as a coupon has been redeemed or new codes have been generated. You can activate these notifications in the settings.
Multi-partner vouchers
The platform automatically and correctly allocates city vouchers that are valid at multiple providers. Your provider-specific share is credited without you having to do any manual calculations.
Partial payment
If a voucher is worth more than the purchase, the remaining balance is retained. The app calculates it automatically and reduces it by the amount used each time it is redeemed.
Account, data & migration

All about the app.

Switching from the old app
If you used the previous app, you'll receive the update automatically. Your existing app ID and coupons will be retained—you don't need to manually restore anything or create a new account.
Data privacy in the app
The app does not use trackers or external analytics services. Information about what data is processed and for what purpose can be found in our [link to privacy policy/data protection policy]. Privacy Policy.
Delete account
You can delete your member account yourself at any time — directly in the app or, if the app is no longer installed, via email. The individual steps are described on the page. Delete account.
Provider back office

Platform back office: Overview & evaluation.

The provider's back office on the platform compiles all the evaluations for your coupons. These sections help you keep track of everything.

Live Dashboard
When you open the back office, you immediately see the most important key figures: redemptions today, this week and this month, your top coupons and the number of active codes.
Statistics & Reports
Each coupon includes detailed statistics with time period filters and comparative data. You can drill down to the individual redemption event.
Weekly digest via email
Optionally, the platform will send you a weekly review every Monday with the most important figures and your top coupon — you don't need to log in for this.
Expiry warnings
Thirty days before a coupon expires, you'll receive an email. With one click in the back office, you can extend it for another 30 days.
CSV export
You can export statistics and coupon data as a CSV file and process it further in Excel, for example.
Provider back office

Platform back office: Manage coupons.

In the coupon section of the back office, you can create new promotions and maintain existing ones.

Coupon editor with templates
You start new coupons from templates — such as city vouchers for €25 or €50, experience coupons or seasonal promotions — and then customize them freely.
Manage activation codes
For each coupon, you generate activation codes and download them: as HTML for printing or as CSV for sending. You can see the remaining balance for each code.
Duplicate coupon
You can copy an existing coupon with one click and easily adapt the copy — this way you can quickly set up new promotions.
Bulk Actions
Activate, deactivate, or archive multiple coupons simultaneously — practical if you manage many promotions in parallel.
Weekday closures
You can restrict a coupon to specific days of the week, such as "Monday to Thursday only", to direct demand specifically to quieter days.
Provider back office

Platform back office: Partners, support & legal.

Onboarding tour for new providers
New providers are guided through a six-step tour of the back office — from coupon creation to statistics and redemption in the app.
Add partners via invitation email
You invite redemption partners via email using a magic link. They are automatically assigned to the correct group upon joining.
Support requests in the back office
Requests from the support form are placed in an overview with status workflow (Open, In Progress, Completed), internal notes and the option to resend emails.
Keeping an eye on shop orders
You can view all orders from connected shops, filtered by shop type and email status. The detailed view shows the generated codes, the print link, and a history—and you can send the customer an email directly.
Maintain legal texts centrally
You can edit the privacy policy, legal notice, and terms of use directly in the back office. The app and website will then automatically display the updated version.
Corporate subscriptions for employee vouchers
Corporate subscriptions allow you to regularly provide companies with city vouchers for their employees. Details on how this works can be found on the page. Employee benefits.
Connector & Shop Integration

Sell coupons through your own shop.

With the shop integration, you can sell vouchers and coupons through your existing online shop. These features are included.

Integration with all common shop systems
Shopify, Shopware 6, Magento 2, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, and custom shops all connect to the same interface endpoint. Setup takes approximately 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the system.
Automatic email with print link
Once an order has been paid for, your customer will automatically receive an email with all the codes and a button to download and print the vouchers.
Link products with coupons
You enter the field in the shop product. pfd_coupon_id. This tells the system which platform coupon should be generated when an order is placed.
One separate password per shop
You generate a separate access password for each connected shop. If one is compromised, you only block that one shop—all others continue to function.
Protection against duplicate orders
If your shop accidentally sends an order notification twice, the platform detects this. No duplicate codes are generated and no duplicate emails are sent.
WooCommerce integration with order overview
For WooCommerce there is a dedicated connector plugin: It automatically generates codes for every paid order and provides an order overview in the WordPress admin with a "Recreate" button in case something goes wrong.
Legal texts and support shortcodes
The Connector plugin includes shortcodes: the legal texts (perfectday-privacy, perfectday-imprint, perfectday-terms) always show the centrally maintained version, and perfectday-support renders an accessible, GDPR-compliant support form.
Website security settings
For provider websites, the connector provides a pre-configured security setup (login protection, brute-force protection, firewall basics) that can be imported with just a few clicks.
